AI is getting better very fast. It could help cure diseases, end boring work and give us more free time. We want that future, and we want it soon.
But there is a problem on the way. When AI can do the work, many companies will cut jobs instead of sharing the gains. People without a salary stop buying things. Cut the wages, and you cut the customers.
When many people get hurt, they turn against AI. They vote for bans and strict rules, and progress slows down for everyone. Harm is the real brake.
Ethical Acceleration means this: move AI forward, and at the same time make sure it does not harm people, directly or indirectly. When the two collide, people come first. The goal is to do both.
For example, use the extra productivity so people can work less for the same pay, instead of losing their jobs. The fastest path to a better future is the one people support.
